SUPERCROSS BMX

BMXWheels.com - BMX Reviews and Product Guide!

Back in the early 90's Bill Ryan had a company called Tech BMX Products. Tech made Number Plates and Uniforms. Around 1992 Bill closed Tech and started making BMX frames under the Supercross name.

The original frame geometry was based off the Free Agent Limo, which was one of the most popular frames of the time. With input from guys like Billy Griggs, Brian Lopes, and Billy Harrison, Bill came up with a cool design for the Supercross frame. The Supercross name is probably one of the best names you could come up with if your doing a BMX frame company. Billy Harrison and Greg Hill came up with the name while brain storming at a national one weekend.

Over the years Supercross has had its ups and downs, along with many growing pains. But today Supercross is very successful, and is one of those small BMX companies from the 90's that grew up to be a success story.

Check out the Supercross Official site for more information, a great history section, and lots of updates.
