METAL-BIKES

Metal Bikes is Jimmy Levan's company. Jimmy used to ride for S&M Bikes back in the early 90's when the whole dirt jumping scene was just starting to blow up. Jimmy was always pretty wild and out of control. At some point he had a falling out with S&M and shortly after that Metal Bikes was born.

In its first few years Metal was just making small batches frames and moving along slowly but surely as a small rider owned company. Like most small BMX companies, money is what holds them back. Good designs and hot products are not enough if you don't have the money to get more products made and expand.

But over the years Metal Bikes has gotten bigger and offers some pretty cool products now like sprockets, bars, seats, and bar ends. Jimmy and S&M have also patched things up and now S&M Bikes helps to distribute Metal. This means Metal Bikes should be pretty easy to find at your local dealer.
