Throughout the 80's as Bob helped to invent Freestyle BMX, Haro made the first frame made specifically for Freestyle BMX, designed super cool BMX uniforms, and eventually expanded to a small line BMX and Freestyle Complete Bikes. By the end of the 80's, Bob sold Haro to West Coast Cycles, a big distributor at the time, and after a few years Haro was bought a sold and Bob Moved on. Long time friend and partner Jim Ford took over the direction of Haro and managed to get togther some investors and by Haro back from the corporate giants in the early 90's.
