DiaTech was formed in the mid 90's by the company that makes Dia-Compe products - I think. There was a big dispute back then between The company that made Dia-Compe Parts, which was overseas, and the company that handled the US distribution here in the states.

It was from that dispute that Dia-Tech was born. DiaTech makes braking components for BMX bikes. The Hombre brakes are some the best U-brakes on the market for BMX bikes.
